Kauai's premier playground for kids of all ages.Located in the north end of Lydgate Park, near the Aloha Beach Resort. Built by 7,000 Volunteers in 1994, Kamalani Playground is a source of pride and fun for all. The main features are a volcano slide and lots of art work. Mosaics of ocean themed ceramics made by Kauai's children are complemented by Hawaiian wood carvings. Designed by Leathers and Associates, it gets used daily. The volcano slide and mazes are especially popular. Behind the playground is a Japanese garden area and a labyrinth.
