Building the Original Kamalani Pavilion, March - April 2004

This wasn’t just an ordinary pavilion.  It was decorated with kids’ ceramic mosaics, legends carved in wood, and students’ patterns embellishing the walls. Keiki performed on the pavilion’s intimate stage from the comfort of sheltered picnic areas.
