Building the Original Kamalani Pavilion, March - April 2004

This was not just an ordinary pavilion. Before it was destroyed by fire in 2007, the Kamalani Pavilion was decorated with kids' ceramic mosaics, legends carved in wood, and students' patterns embellishing the walls. Keiki performed on the pavilion?s intimate stage from the comfort of sheltered picnic areas.

The replacement Kamalani Pavilion has now been rebuilt, and soon will be blessed and dedicated to the public benefit.
