A 2-1/2 Mile multi-use path now circles Lydgate Park.  This will be the central link in the 17 mile Nawiliwili to Anahola bike path, Ke Ala Hele Makalae.  The photo below is looking south, above the rock pools and the Kamalani Playground construction site in 1994.  The yellow line indicates the bike path.  The path runs along the beach to the north end of the park, then comes back around.  The Kamalani Kai Bridge is located south of the camping area.  The path is 10 foot wide and made of concrete, designed by MDG, Inc. of Denver Colorado.
