The Friends of Kamalani and Lydgate Park are volunteers devoted to enhancing the public facilities at Lydgate Park. Projects include Kamalani Playground, Kamalani Kai Bridge, Kamalani Pavilion, and the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Sports Park.
The Friends of Kamalani and Lydgate Park Committee typically meets at 5:30 PM on the first Monday of each month at the Aloha Beach Resortyou may confirm the next scheduled meeting by calling the general coordinator at 639-1018.

Beach Clean-ups
Each Saturday The Friends of Kamalani and Lydgate Beach Clearing Team gathers at the Lydgate Park swimming ponds for volunteer beach grooming.
8:30 AM to 11:00 AM. Meet near the Life Guard's tower.
What to bring: sturdy flexible rakes, work gloves, drinking water, shoes & sun protection recommended. These are "Hard Core" events--please don't expect any snacks or meals to be provided.
